I found this information on the website http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Martin_Luther_King. King became a civil rights activist early in his career. In 1964, King became the youngest person to receive the Nobel Prize. He led the Montgomary Bus Boycott in 1955-1956, and help find Southern Christian Leadership.In 1963 He march on the Washington for jobs and freedom where he gave the famous speech "I Have a Dream". Before his assassination he wanted to end proverty and segartion between the different races and colors.The U.S. made Martin Luther King a holiday in 1968.
